Half a year since I've started writing my own book masterpiece. However, interrupting challenges from corporate career & higher studies came along the way that I had no choice but set this secret passion aside. I'm crossing my fingers now...whew! Allocating time to different things that I love doing is no joke, haha!
To those who're stiff in believing my potential of becoming a novel writer, please extend your patience for it will take another six months to finish my masterpiece.
To those who criticize me, haha thank you very much. It made me even stronger. As it is said in the bible...."when you are weak, then you are strong!".
To those who see me as an inspiration, thanks to you. That is the most flattering things I've ever heard that has given me more push!
To those who hated or envied me secretly, you have no choice...haha I am more loved than being hated! So it's up to you -- two options are placed on your table. Take it, or leave it!
To God, thank you so much for the different talents you've endowed upon me. Felt like being showered with too much blessings. Sometimes, I questioned of why there are some people who couldn't just be happy in my high moments. However, in the end of my meditation & self-reflection, I feel so blessed of having YOU. Thanks for guiding me along the way. Thanks to you, my greatest Saviour!
To my family, thanks for all the support and always believing of what I am capable of doing in this world.
Whew! I am now turning at 168th page of my book. I am almost at the finish line!
Anything is worth writing for if you put down your inner soul and passion into it. Open your imagination power and explore to the world and beyond.

Book Review: Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer
Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mt. Everest Disaster by Jon KrakauerMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Into Thin Air is the first book that I've read among the masterpieces of Jon Krakauer; and from there on, I'd considered Krakauer as one of my favorite authors. Writing a true-to-life story, not to mention a tragic one, isn't that easy to achieve; but Jon Krakauer filled his masterpiece with a perfect flavor of thrill at its magnitude that readers are seemed being plunged to an actual encounter of cataclysmic disaster at Mt. Everest. The pacing is quite impressive, and the story's approach itself is worth raising the bar. The detailed description of Mt. Everest is very entertaining as if readers have had their real climbs up on the mountain. What's more, like any other stories that inject lessons worth of keeping, Into Thin Air proved to mankind that there's no such thing as burning desire nor fame and prestige to compensate the glory of 'life and survival' no matter what risk it demands.

Book Review: The Lovely Bones
The Lovely Bones by Alice SeboldMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
A unique approach of a story that can be found only at The Lovely Bones. Alice Sebold made a beautiful narrative of a dead innocent who'd been a victim of human's cruelty and sexual insanity. I was never been fascinated to reading a story where teens are the target readers, but when i got bumped into The Lovely Bones, it changed a whole lot of things. Though the pacing is a bit dragging, Alice Sebold successfully took me to different paradigms: how life could be after death, & how should it be after a shocking discovery of secrets from people you've valued & loved most. The Lovely Bones presented a tragic & sad fate where lust & selfishness are worst mixture in the quest for justice.

Book Review: Windmills of the Gods (by Sidney Sheldon)
Windmills of the Gods by Sidney SheldonMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
How a story is presented in the beginning, middle, & end is an essential factor that keeps the readers of into pages. Sidney Sheldon did it well on his Windmills of the Gods, & successfully placed a strong ingredient that surprises readers every now & then. The pacing is perfect. The plot is excellent. The story itself is well-researched. Windmills of the Gods is one of the greatest suspense stories I've had read, and Sidney Sheldon succeeded in hooking me up with such a breath-taking story, a fast-paced journey unto the world of politics & its darkest mysteries, the hidden risks behind intellect & fame, the roller coaster ride to the international secrets, sex & murder at their worst, a family at danger in every choice to take, and the survival amidst greedy interests and deceits in a game of life. There are only a few writers who can bring it on; and Sidney Sheldon is one worth to get such prestige.

Book Review: Eleven Minutes (by Paulo Coelhe)
Eleven Minutes by Paulo CoelhoMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
A very sensitive topic in our society that was excellently written to appear artistic, professional, & informative. Paulo Coelhe wrote it more than great that each revelation of life's realities in the story is worth a lesson to keep. so many sensitive questions about life & wild sex, & the reason it is treated according to choices is seemed being answered. but the bottom line of the story, amidst the twists & turns, or even in the dark side of life, there is always a home for love...that home is found in Eleven Minutes!

And in my eyes--
You're a great leader!"

Quotes of the Day
Let's talk about the different faces of friendship.
Is there really a true friend?
Here, I present some realities of this so called "friendship".
Check it out which fits you.
"There are many friends, that's true.
But there are only few who stand with you."
"Friends come to your life for reasons.
There are few to cling for your wealth.
Others want to shed your fame.
Some needs your generosity.
Many aim your intellectual and talented labels.
But despite this hard-hitting reality;
There is only one that stands genuine."
"Friendship can be measured when...
Your secret story doesn't circulate
Your sorrows cause her pain
Your pain becomes her anguish
Your anguish turns her struggle
Your struggle leads her strength
Your strength gives her hope
Your hope makes her joy
Your joy is her victory!
For friendship is all about...
Greatest feeling and moment!"
This is inspired from Talk_Back's post via Twitter:
"Don't say "Black" when you don't have an exact vision of its color.
Or else, you'll end up like an idiot trapped defenseless in a battle."

Beautiful Twist
Wishing for a beautiful and smooth twist where no one gets hurt, and everybody lives happily despite the abrupt change in love & life's journey!
May the limelight turns on to where you hide so I could find you easier, and that my travel in search for my ONE could have been ended.
May you see a glimpse of hope to become stronger and keep on walking till you catch a hint of my footsteps.
May you hear my voice calling for you amidst the loudest sounds caused by mankind around the planet.
May you sense the touch of my heart's desire so that my long quest for you is worth the wait and tears.
May our stars and our planets in space collide and a magnetic force of the universe leads us together in one place.

Untold Stranger
She sat on the bench inside the campus quadrangle. Folks & fellow students passed by without noticing her. She observed them passing, seeking for meaning of life when a man in white T-shirt approached her and asked: “Alone?”
She stared at him blankly. She couldn’t think of anything that reminded her of any formal or informal acquaintances with the man. Her eyes traveled to the personality of the stranger in front of her, who managed to notice her amidst the crowd in the campus. This man of early 30’s was moderately tall with a brown complexion. His build wasn’t that impressive but his eyes showed sincerity and filled with mystery. He looked a bit tired and burned out -- like he’d traveled so far. Then, darkness and white colors suddenly flashed and faded the man in the scene. She woke up to realize that she just had a dream.
She went to the kitchen and got a glass of water. She was thirsty. She was totally tired of crying for a man she thought was meant for her. She couldn’t believe how she’d survived from emptiness and pain after discovering her fiance's marriage to someone else. Yes, someone exactly of her version. How pathetic! That’s how she felt. She returned to her room and thought back to her weird dream. She raised her brows and murmured: It was just a dream. A simple sign from a woman being burned out of much pain!
A year and months later, that dream faded and was forgotten. She was busy at law school. One day, a friend request across SNS surprised her. The name was so familiar to her – yes, the name! Of course it was! She saw that name on her campus Communication ID. Could be a shame but that man was the only student-president she never got acquainted with! Not even getting familiarized of his face, worse even listening at him on speech. She didn’t recognize him completely. To save the man from insult, she fooled herself settling a fact that her life in college was a busy mixture with her job at a radio station! Okay, I was too busy then. Too busy to listen to his speech, or to meet him in campus newsroom, or even in campus radio station! Simply because I was totally devoting myself to the outside world of media.
That man left nothing but a legacy of his name!
But in the lighter side, she recalled giving an effort to see him. She lined up at the Communication studio when a speech was set to be delivered but she gave up – she didn’t like huge crowd! Before the president arrived to deliver a speech, she left. She was too impatient, really!
Unnoticeably, a smile drew at her face. After nine long years, nice meeting you, Mr. President! She exclaimed and started to browse at the photos and that gave her a big bang! The face was so familiar because she got bumped to this man outside the Starbucks. He wore a denim jacket and had a serious chat with his peers when she passed by toward the bookstore, one or two meters away from Starbucks. The man stared at her and showed getting familiar of her, or might just a curious stare, or whatever it was, she recalled ignoring him and them. She felt awkward caught at the group’s stare – simply because he was and they were totally strangers to her!
She moved the mouse and traveled down where she could see a link to the president’s blog. Curiosity pushed her to read. Impressive! She murmured. Then, she started to read and read again the man’s blog as if she had known him already for so long. Yes, she started to appreciate the man: the wise man with adorable characteristics! His different views that made her think this man was so real to himself. No pretension at all! She ended up accepting Mr. President’s friend request. She just realized, she sent in a private message: “Thanks for connecting!” And that was it! She didn’t apply her learning from a stringent TV interview session. What she did was an opening and closing statement.
A week later, she was totally bothered. There must be something she’d forgotten. She tried to have a flashback and she almost giggled when she got it finally. Yes, the man of her dream was no longer a stranger! She met him finally! Who would have thought that the man of his dream was Mr. President? She just stared at her computer’s screen blankly, playing around the keyboard, after that big mind-recall-hit! How did it happen? What’s his role in her life?
She stood up and got back her Revised Penal Code book. That day, her life was back on track being the great teller of her time. Part of that story has been told, but what lies ahead of this life’s mysterious surprise would be worth waiting: could be a great friendship, a lover, or a brotherly care could have been found! Yet, there was a lesson learned out there: that fate rules its own timing for two strange individuals to meet for reason. And whatever might be that reason, it remains untold.
